See the link below to find out more and sign up. \nhttps://www.campusce.net/brooklinesmartprograms/course/course.aspx?C=5499&pc=153&mc=0&sc=0 \nRobotics Camp will include building and programming a robot using the Lego Mindstorm & Spike computer and lego parts. The kids will have fun competitions using their robots. They will also participate in fun\, quick team building activities. No experience is required and the goal is to make sure the kids have fun through an engaging STEM experience. High school students from the BHS robotics team will be teaching – They have experience teaching over 150 kids with fun had by all. The Adult Education team is offering a fun activities camp in the morning and afternoon that you can combine. \nOver the last 2-years\, the BBoTs have grown robotics engagement from 20 to 450 participants their goal is to get 600 students involved by 2023. Over the last several years the team helped parents launch 20+ First Lego League (FLL) Teams\, and 10+ of these first-year teams made it to the Robotics State Championships. \nAll camp participants are required to present proof of vaccination. If you have questions\, please contact BBoTs member Calder Shen at\nkcsrosegold10@gmail.com or Adam Rizika (Team Coach) at 617-233-6205.

SUMMARY:Java for FTC
DESCRIPTION:During our three-week camp campers will learn how to program in Java and use Java to control a FIRST Tech Challenge robot. By the end of the 3 weeks\, campers will program the robots to both move autonomously\, based on sensor input\, as well as to operate based on input from a remote control. To participate in this camp\, campers must complete Learn Java (from Codecademy)\, a free programming course before the first day of the camp. This preparatory work could take 15-20 hours\, depending on experience level\, so please plan ahead. This camp teaches specific skills needed to program as a part of a FIRST Tech Challenge team\, but is also fun and valuable by itself. Space is limited. \nTaught by: Waring Robotics Summer camps are staffed by alumni and current members of Wolfpack Machina\, Waring’s varsity FTC team. Wolfpack Machina holds the world record high score for the FTC\, Ultimate Goal (2020-2021) season. It’s members also hold the world record high score for the City Shaper season of FLL (2019-2020). They love robotics and are passionate about sharing

SUMMARY:CAD and Design for FTC
DESCRIPTION:Come and learn how to design and CAD robots for FIRST Tech Challenge. During our two-week camp\, learn AutoDesk Fusion 360 as you design\, 3D model\, and then build solutions to robot challenges. The intent of this camp is to prepare campers for roles on robotics teams by giving them hands-on experience tackling fun challenges. This camp teaches specific skills needed to 3D design as a part of a FIRST Tech Challenge team\, but is also fun and valuable by itself. Space is limited. \nTaught by: Waring Robotics Summer camps are staffed by alumni and current members of Wolfpack Machina\, Waring’s varsity FTC team.
