Greetings 2021-2022 FIRST Tech Challenge Teams!
I hope this email finds you well.
For those of you who joined us at Kickoff, I want to say it was great to be able to be with you in person – my BTI colleagues and I truly enjoyed the event, learning the “Kickoff Ropes” and engaging in great discussions with many of you. We look forward to seeing you again – along with all participating teams – at the upcoming events. Many thanks again to Natick High School for hosting, to the teams and mentors who ran the workshops and meetings, and to all who volunteered.
I want to let you know we are working to finalize Scrimmage and Qualifying Event locations and dates. We hope to have these settled by the end of next week. We have also been building our on-line registration page that will host event and payment policies, as well as registration process information, and will message out when complete.
We have posted (which many of you have likely already seen) the events that are confirmed on our Events Tab at: https://bostontechinitiative.org/ and will continue to update with the latest information as it becomes available.
I also want to let you know we are reviewing health and safety protocols due to COVID-19 for the events. We hope to have these available at the time of registration but will not hold up registration if not fully determined by then. I will add that any protocols set forth will be subject to modification based on changing COVID-19 conditions. One decision we have made is that for this season our events will be closed to out-of-state teams as an added measure of protection.
