Greetings MA FTC Team Mentors!
I hope you all had a nice weekend.
This is a brief email to let you know we are getting close to finalizing our last Qualifier details, and hope to have this done end of week.
We therefore have a Goal Date of Friday 10/13 to open our Event Preference Registration.
We will confirm this as soon as possible along with time of system opening, and if there are any changes, advise of the new preferencing open date .
Rookie Teams and New Mentors of Veteran Teams:

Event Preference Registration is how/where you will register your team(s) for its competition events. We will send an email with the URL to the page for registration once the date is confirmed.

You will select your preferred events from “Round 1” and “Round 2” of events. Each round will have a drop-down menu where you will select events in order of preference.

All teams are required to play at both a Round 1 and Round 2 event, i.e., a team cannot just preference for a Round 2 (later in the season) event.

You will be placed into your events once our BTI team has had a chance to review all preference requests.

You will receive a confirmation email from us indicating into which events your team has placed. This is sent appx. a week post preferencing.
Qualifiers Available to View on BTI Website:
We have posted the season’s Qualifier Events on our website at https://bostontechinitiative.
We will be posting Scrimmages as well – details on the scrimmages are still coming in, and our plan is to have these posted, at least the majority, to our website next week as well as have them open at same time as Qualifier Registration. We will send another email when they have been posted to the BTI Website.
Thanks for your patience everyone as we get the final Qualifier and Scrimmages nailed down; please remember, the competition events start early this year, first Qualifier is 12/9.
