Thank you to all who attended BTII, you blew it out of the water!

Boston Tech Initiative Invitational

Join us on August 20th at the MIT Hockey Rink for our inaugural Boston Tech Initiative Invitational (BTII)! In addition to the opportunity to participate in a low stakes competition with some game changes (adding fun to how the game is played!), we are also looking to incorporate keynote speakers, tours of the MIT campus and labs, as well as fun activities like robot tug of war and an ice cream social, among other surprises we have in store for teams!

Through this event, we aim to build up hype for the upcoming 2022 – 2023 Power Play FTC season, as well as using robotics to build and strengthen the Massachusetts FTC community. We also hope to use this event to allow teams the chance to play Freight Frenzy one last time as it has never been played before.

Meet the BTII Plannning Team!

This year 17 students from a variety of MA FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Teams came together to plan and deliver an off-season competition, Boston Tech Initiative Invitational (BTII).

Over the summer we have been working on projects that we proposed that would be impactful to FTC Teams and further grow the Boston Tech Initiative (BTI) and MA FTC Community. Read more about us and our projects on our “Interns” page!
