Event Registration and Payment Reminder/Dean’s List Interview Date/Call for Volunteers/Scrimmages Update

Greeting 2021-2022 FIRST Tech Challenge Teams!

Event Registration and Payment:

Please check your spam folder if you have submitted event preferences and have not received a confirmation of your event.  I will be happy to resend any missing confirmations.  Any team that submitted preferences this weekend will see their confirmation by tomorrow 11/22/21.

Kindly remember payment is due two (2) weeks from date of notification to reserve your team(s) event(s).  If you have a special circumstance or concern, please contact me.

Any team that is NOT yet registered for a Qualifier Event, please go to our website at https://bostontechinitiative.org/bti-event-registration/ and register as soon as possible. Please contact me with any questions or concerns.

Dean’s List Interview Date:

We have set a date of Sunday, February 13th to conduct the remote Dean’s List Interviews.

We will provide additional information as we get closer to this date.  In the meantime, please remember that all Dean’s List Interview submissions are due no later than January 15, 2022.

We are looking for Event Volunteers!   If you are interested in Volunteering at an event(s) and/or have family, friends, colleagues that might be interested, please contact Wayne (Penn) at wpenn@firstpartners.org.   Wayne will be happy to share all the great reasons why volunteering at a FIRST Tech Challenge event is fun and rewarding as well as answer any questions.  We appreciate your consideration and sharing with your network.

First scrimmage of the season today 11/21/21!

We are excited to be attending the first scrimmage of the season today at Dartmouth High School.  We had slight glitch in getting the team list posted to our website, so I am sharing below.  We will have this posted on the BTI website next week along with the other Scrimmages team lists.

The Dartmouth, Andover and Needham Scrimmages have filled. For teams on the Andover and Needham Scrimmage wait lists, we will notify you if a spot becomes available.  Thank you all for your interest in attending a scrimmage and thank you to the hosts for hosting them.   We are working to procure another scrimmage mid-December and will message details shortly.
