**Important Time Sensitive Reminder** – FIRST Dashboard Action Needed – Total Youth on Team/Youth FIRST Consent and Release Form

Jan 20, 2022 | BTI Team Email Blasts

Greetings 2021-2022 Massachusetts FIRST Tech Challenge Teams,

All teams should review their FIRST Team Dashboard to ensure their youth count (total youth on team) is correct as well as to ensure every participating youth team member has a signed Consent and Release (C&R) Form.

We need to be able to verify that the total youth on team count maps to the number of youth C&R forms submitted in order for your team to participate.

Currently, I see many team records with missing or inaccurate information related to one or both of these items.

When the number of youth participating on your team is confirmed, if there are any outstanding C&R Forms that need to be completed, please work with your youth team member and/or the parent/legal guardian to get this done as soon as possible.

If you have any questions or need help, please contact: customerservice@firstinspires.org.  The customer service staff are FIRST systems experts and can best guide you and/or your youth team member’s parents or legal guardians as needed.

As a reminder, especially for new team mentors, every team needs to submit a printed Team Roster upon check-in at their events.  The Team Roster will show that the parent or legal guardian has electronically executed the C&R Form.

Information on the Youth Registration System and the C&R Form process can be found at:  https://www.firstinspires.org/resource-library/youth-registration-system

Many thanks and please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Deb
