MA State Championship Date and Venue Announcement/November Scrimmage Spots Still Available!

Oct 28, 2022 | 2022-2023 BTI Team Email Blasts

Greetings 2022-2023 MA FIRST Tech Challenge Teams,

MA States Championship:

The MA States Championship will be held at Andover High School (AHS) on Saturday, March 4th, 2023.   Many thanks to Andover for being willing to host this season!

Snow Date:

As of this email, AHS is uncertain if they can host a snow date on Sunday, March 5.

Natick High School has graciously agreed to host on Saturday, March 18th (or March 19th if there is inclement weather on the 18th) should we need to reschedule March 4th due to snow.

Please mark your calendar for these dates, and we will keep you apprised if AHS can host a snow date on March 5th.

Event Registration:

Thank you to all teams who submitted event preferences.  We have started sending Scrimmage confirmations and will move to Qualifier confirmations shortly.

Not yet registered for your events?

If you have not yet registered your competition event preferences, please do so as soon as you can at https://bostontechinitiative.org/bti-event-registration/

NOTE:  Your team must be registered with FIRST in order to register for MA competition events.

November Scrimmages Have Open Spots!

We have open spots at the upcoming November scrimmages.   If you have not registered for a Scrimmage, we encourage you to do so.

Rookie Teams – even if your robot is not ready, you will have the opportunity to work on it at these events in addition to meeting other teams, seeing robot play, and having a fun and informative experience.  All scrimmages are free to attend!

Veteran Teams – please consider attending a scrimmage even if you have replied you will not – the Scrimmage Hosts (some of who are new this season) would appreciate your support and rookie teams can benefit from your attendance!
